How to convert a list of items in Google Docs into a table

It’s dumb, but simple. Copy the list, paste it into a Google Sheet, copy the column along with any others you need, then re-paste into the document.

There has to be a better way, but this workaround is much faster than copying and pasting each individual list item into a table row.
