Music

Don’t get the wrong idea: I’m no professional here. But music is a core part of who I am and it has been since I can remember. In fact, I surround myself with music, whether it’s hanging guitars around my office, collecting vinyl, listening to the radio, or playing in a band with friends.

Music is something I always keep within arm’s reach.

Another one of the ways I do that is recording and producing music. While it’s not my professional career, it’s a passion and I try to carve out space in my life to scratch that itch. Music is an expressive outlet for me and putting it out there is a core way that I make myself visible or present to others.

This is still a new thing for me. And while my goal is far from “making it” I have started sharing some of the work I create. With all that said, this is a small space where you can not only find that work, but get to know me a little better from a different angle โ€” an angle that captured me differently and more intimately than perhaps anywhere else.

Covers

Released September 30, 2025

It’s weird calling this my debut album, but that’s what it is. It started as a personal challenge to learn more about the craft of recording. Releasing it as an album โ€” particularly on major streaming services โ€” never crossed my mind until I realized I had completed ten projects and could feasibly package them together, despite the fact they were recorded over two years. My skills and tastes developed along the way, making for a weird collection of cover songs that have been important to my at various points in my life.

I was looking for a personal outlet and it became something else. Covers is consistent in its inconsistency, like listening to someone fumbling to find their voice and style.

I hope you even a little bit of it. ๐Ÿงก
