How To Create A Headless WordPress Site On The Jamstack

Geez, can’t believe it’s taken me this long to link it up, but I co-wrote a post with the ever-fabulous, super talented Sarah Drasner for Smashing Magazine last month. We looked at a way to use the WordPress REST API to pass data to a Jamstack site. The idea is that WordPress can still be the content management system even though the front end is served and powered somewhere else.

It was all Sarah’s idea and easily 90% of her work. I merely set the project up, goofed around with Vue and the WordPres REST API a bit, then wrote a few words. Still, I’ve always wanted to see my name on Smashing and this makes me super happy.
